We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager fluent in Mandarin and English to join our industrial construction team. In this pivotal role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and team leadership will drive project success from inception to completion. Position Summary
The Assistant Project Manager supports the successful planning, coordination, and execution of industrial construction projects from start to finish. This position serves as a key liaison between project managers, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and field personnel to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Project Coordination

Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and executing construction projects.

Help monitor project budgets, schedules, and overall project performance.

Coordinate daily activities among field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.

Track project milestones and proactively identify potential delays.
Subcontractor & Vendor Management

Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor schedules.

Assist in resolving day-to-day construction issues.

Maintain productive working relationships with vendors and subcontractors.

Help ensure materials arrive accurately and on schedule.
Documentation & Project Administration

Maintain project documentation including:

Contracts
-
RFIs
-
Submittals
-
Change Orders
-
Meeting Minutes
-
Project Logs
-
Ensure documentation complies with company standards and client requirements.

Support project reporting and administrative functions.
Site Support & Quality Assurance

Visit project sites as required.
-
Monitor construction progress.
-
Assist with quality inspections.

Verify work complies with project specifications.
-
Promote compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Communication & Reporting

Prepare project status reports.

Track key project metrics.

Communicate project updates to management and project teams.

Participate in project meetings and coordinate follow-up actions.
Qualifications
Required

Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English (written and verbal).

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

High attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
-
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

1–3 years of construction, engineering, manufacturing, or project coordination experience.

Experience in industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom construction.

Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar project management software.

Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
Physical Requirements

Ability to travel between job sites as needed.

Ability to walk active construction sites.

Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay: $67,487.52 - $81,275.30 per year
