Overview:

The Business Intelligence Analyst II in the Operations Center of Excellence department will lead the gathering and analysis of information related to the management and performance of the Operations teams. The successful candidate will have as his/her core responsibility the data analysis, benchmarking, and process improvement for the Operations organization and its continuous drive to improve efficiency.

The successful candidate will have a proven capability to gather relevant data from multiple, disparate sources and bring it together in a meaningful way that enables leaders to monitor performance, make informed decisions, and identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is curious, business-oriented, and eager to leverage emerging technologies, including AI and automation, alongside traditional business intelligence tools to solve operational challenges.

This is a full-time, remote role, with a salary range of $70,000-$82,000, bonus eligible.

Responsibilities:

  • Triage data requests and gather user requirements to effectively fulfill business needs.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, visualizations, and other analytical solutions using tools such as Power BI and related technologies.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical, reporting, automation, or data-driven solutions.

  • Conduct exploratory and ad-hoc analyses to generate insights, evaluate opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create performance tracking mechanisms to measure business performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data collection processes, data quality, and reporting efficiency.

  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence, analytics, AI, automation, and data visualization.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (2-4 years) in a business intelligence, data analysis, or similar role.

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

  • Hands-on experience with modern BI and analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, or ETL processes is a plus.

  • Experience with Python, R, AI-assisted analytics, automation platforms, or related technologies is a plus.
