Job Overview

Alfabeta Tek LLC is seeking a Data Analyst to support data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting initiatives involving mortgage and financial systems. The Data Analyst will analyze complex datasets, develop reporting and analytical solutions, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets related to multifamily mortgage and financial systems to support business decision-making and reporting.
Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, data models, and ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Develop DAX measures, calculated columns, data models, relationships, and lookup tables to support complex business rules, KPI calculations, and analytical reporting.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI and Tableau dashboards, reports, KPIs, and data visualizations supporting multifamily mortgage, financial, operational, and technology performance reporting.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to define business rules, KPI definitions, reporting requirements, and dashboard functionality while performing data validation and reconciliation to ensure reporting accuracy.
Perform data validation and data quality analysis and troubleshoot data discrepancies and production system issues.
Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production validation to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
Support data governance initiatives by maintaining documentation, data lineage, and adherence to data quality standards.
Integrate, transform, and validate data from Jira APIs, ServiceNow, Snowflake, AWS, and other enterprise data sources for Power BI reporting and analytics.
Analyze Jira data across Epics, Features, Stories, Bugs, and Sprints to provide insights into Agile delivery, sprint performance, velocity, completion trends, and planned-versus-completed work.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or related role.
