Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical

Data Quality Analyst

to ensure the accuracy, consistency, completeness, and reliability of company data. The successful candidate will monitor data quality, identify and investigate data issues, perform validation checks, and work with technical and business teams to improve data processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate data quality across databases, systems, and business applications.

  • Identify duplicate, incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, or outdated data.

  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.

  • Investigate the root causes of data quality issues and recommend corrective actions.

  • Develop and maintain data quality rules, standards, and procedures.

  • Prepare data quality reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.

  • Work with data engineers, analysts, developers, and business teams to resolve data issues.

  • Assist with data cleansing, transformation, and standardization activities.

  • Maintain documentation of data definitions, quality rules, and validation processes.

  • Track data quality issues and monitor remediation progress.

  • Support data governance and master data management initiatives.

  • Perform regular audits to ensure data meets established quality standards.

  • Identify opportunities to improve data collection, processing, and management workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.

  • 0–3 years of experience in data analysis, data quality, data management, business intelligence, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Understanding of databases, data structures, and data validation concepts.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to investigate data issues and identify root causes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data quality or data governance tools.

  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms.

  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration.

  • Familiarity with Python or another programming language is a plus.

  • Understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.

  • Experience working with cloud databases or data warehouses.

  • Knowledge of master data management and metadata concepts.
