DigiM Solution LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer working on infrastructure deployment (50%) and related software development (50%). This team member will manage and improve the architectural design and deployments of servers, storage, network, and power hardware fleet, including monitoring, performance optimization, security, and backups. This is an on-site position with physical hardware and team support responsibilities. This position also includes software development, related but not limited to the architecture and performance of the infrastructure.

In this role, you will serve as the backbone of our infrastructure architect team, ensuring high availability, robust security, and seamless deployment processes. You will take ownership of maintaining physical hardware, managing high-capacity storage and backups, and modernizing our DevOps workflows while contributing directly to design, development and maintenance of software applications and platform features.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble, configure, deploy, and maintain physical servers, workstations, and other IT hardware.
Diagnose hardware failures and replace failed or degraded components, including hard drives/SSDs, RAM, power supplies, GPUs, network cards, and other server or workstation components.
Perform storage maintenance, including disk replacement, RAID troubleshooting and rebuilds, drive-health monitoring, and capacity upgrades.
Monitor applications, servers, networks, storage, and backups.
Maintain NAS storage, backup schedules, and recovery procedures.
Automate infrastructure, deployments, monitoring, and operational tasks.
Manage security controls, system updates, firewalls, VPNs, and user access.
Diagnose and resolve application, infrastructure, and network issues.
Contribute to software development when workload permits.
Maintain clear technical and operational documentation.
Design, build, and maintain software applications, tools, and platform features (primarily Python).

Skills and Experience

At least two years of relevant professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure, systems administration, or a similar role.
Strong Linux administration, server configuration, and troubleshooting skills.
Hands-on experience assembling, maintaining, and troubleshooting physical servers and workstations.
Experience with server hardware components, including storage devices, RAM, GPUs, network cards, and power supplies.
Experience managing NAS or other storage systems, RAID arrays, disk replacements, capacity planning, and backup/recovery processes.
Experience with infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident troubleshooting.
Knowledge of networking, including DNS, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.
Knowledge of system security, patching, user access controls, and endpoint protection.
Experience with Git, Docker, deployment automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Python and Django is a plus.
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.
Infrastructure-as-code experience is desirable.
Ability to work independently and balance infrastructure, operational, and development priorities.

Compensation package (base+bonus) $90,000+. Total earnings will depend on experience and performance. Exceptional entry level candidates are welcomed to apply.
