Virtual Data Analyst / Entry Level (Remote)

CodeVertex System is hiring for the Virtual Data Analyst / Entry Level (Remote) position.

This fully remote role is open to candidates in the United States and involves collecting, organizing, entering, and analyzing data across internal systems and generating reports for management review. Due to access to sensitive business and client data, a background check and credit screening are required for all analyst positions.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and accurately enter data from multiple internal and external sources into company databases and spreadsheets

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly summary reports using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or internal reporting tools

• Identify data inconsistencies, gaps, or anomalies and flag them for supervisor review with clear documentation

• Maintain organized and up-to-date digital records across multiple databases and file systems

• Collaborate with team leads to define key metrics, build tracking templates, and streamline reporting workflows

• Support management with data-driven summaries and insights to assist in operational decision-making

• Assist with audits, reconciliations, and data quality checks on a scheduled basis

• Meet daily data entry accuracy and productivity targets as set by the team

Requirements

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor degree in a related field preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets with a strong understanding of data organization

• Strong analytical thinking with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy

• Comfortable working with large data sets and maintaining consistency across multiple files

• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free home workspace

• Must pass a pre-employment background check and credit screening

• No prior analyst experience required — comprehensive paid training is provided

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
