Resolve Tech Solutions
Job description
Key Responsibilities
-
Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java with a focus on reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
-
Apply strong Android fundamentals across application lifecycle, activities, fragments, services, broadcast receivers, background execution, permissions, storage, networking, and device compatibility.
-
Implement clean, modular Android architecture using MVVM, Clean Architecture, dependency injection, repository patterns, and reusable component design.
-
Build intuitive and responsive mobile experiences that support multiple screen sizes, device form factors, orientations, and Android OS versions.
-
Profile, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for memory usage, startup time, network efficiency, battery consumption, threading, and runtime performance.
-
Conduct device performance testing across target Android hardware, including responsiveness, CPU and memory usage, battery impact, network behavior, startup time, and real store operating conditions.
-
Implement secure mobile development practices for permissions, certificates, encrypted storage, authentication tokens, API communication, and sensitive data.
-
Integrate Android applications with REST APIs, cloud services, backend microservices, databases, and enterprise systems with resilient error handling and offline or limited-connectivity support.
-
Write unit tests, integration tests, and automated UI tests to improve quality, maintain code coverage, and support reliable releases.
-
Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, improve development practices, and mentor developers on Android engineering best practices.
-
Support CI/CD, release management, build automation, crash analysis, monitoring, and production troubleshooting for Android applications.
Expectations
-
Primary focus is native Android development in Kotlin and Java.
-
