About the Role

We are looking for a talented

Clojure Backend Software Engineer

to join a long-term project focused on building scalable, AI-powered applications. You will develop backend services, APIs, and data pipelines while integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into production environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using

Clojure

.
Build scalable APIs and distributed backend solutions.
Design and optimize

PostgreSQL

databases and data models.
Integrate and manage AI/LLM services (such as GPT, Gemini, or similar) in production applications.
Develop reliable data workflows and backend integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong professional experience with

Clojure

.
Solid experience with

PostgreSQL

, including database design and query optimization.
Experience integrating

LLMs

or AI services into production systems.
Strong backend engineering experience building scalable APIs and distributed applications.
Advanced English communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with

ClojureScript

.
Knowledge of Java and the JVM ecosystem.
Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal, Airflow, or Step Functions.
Familiarity with vector databases (Qdrant, Pinecone, Weaviate) and RAG architectures.
Experience with Generative AI, semantic search, or AI-powered automation.
