Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, OpenStack, and Azure.

Automate deployment processes utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, and PowerShell scripts.

Manage containerization systems including Docker and Kubernetes to facilitate microservices architecture and ensure high availability.

Monitor system performance with tools like New Relic, Splunk, Elasticsearch, and IT monitoring tools to proactively identify issues and optimize performance.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient software delivery.

Troubleshoot software deployment issues and perform system testing to guarantee reliability across Linux, UNIX, Windows Server environments.

Maintain security protocols by configuring firewalls, managing identity & access management (IAM), and implementing cloud security best practices.
Skills

Extensive experience with containerization systems such as Docker and Kubernetes for deploying scalable applications.

Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, and OpenStack.

Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Python, Perl, Groovy, Ruby on Rails, Go, C#, C++, and Shell Scripting for automation tasks.

Hands-on expertise with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef; build automation tools like Maven, Gradle; version control systems including GitHub, GitLab, SVN.

Deep understanding of enterprise software including WebSphere, Weblogic, JBoss; database management with MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle; disaster recovery planning.

Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP and RESTful APIs; experience with DNS management and network administration.

Familiarity with IT infrastructure components like VMware virtualization solutions; system administration on Linux/Unix/Windows Server environments; high availability architectures.

Ability to implement SDLC best practices through Agile software development methodologies; manage incident response & incident recovery processes; perform system troubleshooting support effectively.

Pay: $48.11 - $57.94 per hour
Work Location: In person
