Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android)

About The Role

The role owns the end-to-end development, performance, and scaling of native mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms, reaching millions of active daily users.

The engineering team collaborates closely with product designers, backend engineers, and QA to deliver fluid user interfaces, rock-solid offline capabilities, and low-latency API integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and ship robust native mobile applications using Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose

• Integrate high-throughput REST and GraphQL APIs, managing local data persistence with Room, CoreData, or SQLite

• Optimize application performance, memory management, rendering speeds, and battery consumption across a fragmented device landscape

• Implement automated unit, integration, and UI test suites using XCTest, Espresso, and Appium

• Drive continuous deployment pipelines via Fastlane, App Store Connect, and Google Play Console

• Participate in rigorous code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to mobile engineering standards

What We Are Looking For

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience with at least 3 years dedicated to native iOS or Android development

• Deep mastery of Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java, with a strong portfolio of applications published in the App Store or Google Play

• Solid grasp of mobile architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture, and reactive programming paradigms (Combine, Coroutines/Flow)

• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling, automated provisioning, and crash reporting platforms like Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• Bonus: Experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter, and contributions to open-source mobile libraries
