About The Role

Eventim is seeking an experienced Product Discovery Manager to help shape the future of our ticketing platform by uncovering client needs, researching emerging markets, and identifying long-term product opportunities.

In this highly collaborative, client-facing role, you will partner directly with clients, prospects, and internal teams to understand how organizations sell tickets, manage operations, and engage fans. Through interviews, onsite discovery sessions, market research, workflow analysis, and product validation, you'll transform insights into strategic recommendations that influence our product roadmap.

This role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys solving complex business problems, and thrives at the intersection of experience, product strategy, and market research.

This position is hybrid and requires regular in-office collaboration in our Los Angeles office.

What You'll Do

Client Discovery & Relationship Management

  • Build trusted relationships with clients across existing and emerging industry verticals.

  • Conduct client interviews, discovery workshops, onsite observations, and workflow assessments to understand business goals and operational challenges.

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows, operational processes, and evolving business needs across a variety of markets.

  • Validate product concepts and gather continuous client feedback throughout the product development lifecycle.

Product Discovery & Strategy

  • Own the end-to-end discovery process—from defining research objectives and execution plans through synthesizing findings, developing recommendations, and presenting insights to product leadership and stakeholders.

  • Identify client pain points, unmet needs, and emerging opportunities that influence long-term product strategy.

  • Create journey maps, personas, workflow diagrams, and opportunity assessments.

  • Evaluate how existing platform capabilities can be extended into new use cases.

  • Translate research into clear product recommendations, problem statements, and feature opportunities.

  • Partner closely with Product Managers, UX, Engineering, Design, and Client Success teams to define future roadmap initiatives.

Market & Competitive Research

  • Research client segments and market trends to identify opportunities for platform expansion.

  • Analyze competitive products, business models, operational workflows, and technology ecosystems.

  • Evaluate industry economics and identify gaps where Eventim can differentiate.

  • Monitor evolving client expectations and best practices across ticketing and adjacent industries.

Research, Analytics & Insights

  • Combine qualitative research with quantitative data to develop actionable product insights.

  • Analyze client behavior, operational metrics, and adoption trends across high-volume transactional systems.

  • Measure pilot program success and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Present research findings and strategic recommendations to product leadership and executive stakeholders.

  • Establish repeatable discovery practices and maintain a repository of client insights.

Experience

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Discovery, Product Management, UX Research, Design Strategy, Solutions Consulting, Business Analysis, or a related field.

  • Experience working with enterprise or B2B software products.

  • Background in high-volume transactional platforms such as ticketing, e-commerce, travel, hospitality, SaaS, or similar industries.

  • Demonstrated success conducting discovery and influencing product direction.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, and Client Service teams.

Skills

  • Exceptional interviewing, facilitation, and discovery skills.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

  • Ability to synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative research into actionable insights.

  • Experience with journey mapping, workflow analysis, persona development, and service design.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Comfortable presenting findings to executives and client stakeholders.

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and independently drive strategic initiatives.

  • Passion for understanding venue operators’ problems and translating them into innovative product solutions.

Success in This Role

Within your first year, you will:

  • Build strong relationships with clients across multiple market segments.

  • Develop a deep understanding of client operations and workflows.

  • Identify strategic product opportunities that influence our long-term roadmap.

  • Establish repeatable discovery practices that improve how Product learns from venue operators.

  • Help reduce uncertainty around product investments through evidence-based research and client validation.
