The Opportunity:
The
Product Manager - Imaging
owns Marketlab's Imaging portfolio. The role combines clinical knowledge, industry insight, portfolio judgment, and business acumen to drive revenue growth and business KPIs.
This role reports to the Director of Product Management & Development.
Functional/Technical Competencies

Imaging Category Ownership:
Manage the Imaging category, including assortment, positioning, performance, lifecycle decisions, and growth priorities.
Understand how setting, modality, workflow, channel, and stakeholder needs affect product fit and how the offering should be sold.

Customer Focus and Consultative Selling:
Partner with Sales to uncover customer needs and recommend solutions across Marketlab's offering. Understand the customer's environment, constraints, expectations, and intended use before recommending a solution.

Customer & Market Insight:
Build practical knowledge of Imaging workflows, buying criteria, suppliers, competitors, and trends through customer interaction, field feedback, and research.

Strong Business Acumen:
Develop and optimize category strategies by leveraging sales, margin, pricing, cost, supplier, customer, and market information. Define, analyze, and report on KPIs.

Product & Market Fluency:
Become Marketlab's internal expert on assigned Imaging products and the practical differences that matter to customers.

What You’ll Do:

Partner with Sales on strategic Imaging opportunities and customer conversations. Participate in discovery calls, customer visits, product evaluations, demonstrations, business reviews, and industry events. (Up to 50% travel.)

Serve as an internal resource for Imaging product, workflow, application, and market questions.

Own category reviews and recommend priorities, risks, and actions to leadership.

Recommend assortment, SKU, supplier, replacement, rationalization, or discontinuation actions.

Collaborate with Sales and Customer Experience to capture feedback, answer material questions, and improve selling guidance.

Partner with Marketing to develop marketing materials and selling tools.

Provide or support practical product education for internal teams and customers.

Participate in strategic supplier discussions, business reviews, and product planning.

Monitor category signals and recommend actions that improve commercial performance. Maintain a focused product roadmap for the Imaging portfolio..

Lead business requirements and commercial decisions for selected development or product lifecycle initiatives.
What You’ll Need:
The ideal candidate will have…

Bachelor's degree in business or related clinical/technical field is preferred.

5+ years of meaningful medical Imaging experience across multiple modalities, product categories, customer settings, or workflow areas. Experience may come from clinical practice, distribution, product or category management, sales, marketing, or another relevant path.

Ability to speak credibly about Imaging needs and a broad product offering from a consultative selling perspective.

Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, discovery, and relationship-building skills.

Commercial judgment and comfort with sales, margin, pricing, cost, customer, and market data.

Ability to translate clinical, technical, and product information into clear guidance.

Strong prioritization, decision-making, and cross-functional influence.

Proficient in standard office software (Microsoft or Google Workspace).
