We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. Duties

Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring instruments, height gauges, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines to verify product conformity.

Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and GDT (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate quality assessments.

Perform quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and other regulatory standards to verify compliance across production processes.

Collect and analyze data related to product quality, process performance, and measurement results to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Maintain detailed records of inspections, non-conformances, corrective actions, and calibration logs for measuring instruments.

Support manufacturing teams by providing guidance on quality standards in production and ensuring adherence to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP protocols where applicable.

Participate in calibration activities for precision measurement tools such as height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and vision systems to ensure measurement accuracy.
Requirements

Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment; familiarity with QA/QC procedures is essential.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation.

Proficiency in using measurement instruments including coordinate measuring machines (CMM), height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.

Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and regulatory/legal compliance standards in production.

Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately using GD&T principles and analyze results effectively.

Excellent attention to detail combined with strong analysis skills for identifying deviations from quality standards.

Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and data interpretation; familiarity with data collection software is a plus.

Mechanical blueprint interpretation skills coupled with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
