Job Description:

This job is responsible for developing and managing the end-to-end product life cycle for highly complex products. Key responsibilities include conducting market research and competitor analyses, determining product pricing, developing short and long-term strategies, and identifying innovative opportunities to modernize product offerings and deliver a more unified customer experience. Job expectations include ensuring that product management efforts are integrated with sales, marketing, operations, implementation, and customer service strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and creates comprehensive plans for product development and deployment, including supporting the creation of sales training programs and marketing materials to educate clients and internal teams on product capabilities

  • Oversees a set of products and maintains financials, including managing the investment profile and profit and loss (P&L) activities, such as revenue and profit margins

  • Provides information on product trends to sales and marketing teams leveraging knowledge of product functionality, marketplace trends, and the competitive landscape

  • Identifies opportunities to streamline or enhance product offerings to fit client's existing and future needs and support continued growth and operational excellence

  • Manages risk through implementing and monitoring effective controls in partnership with key support partners

  • Partners with internal stakeholders to obtain meaningful insights about markets, clients, and competitors in order to develop products that solve client needs and ensure high adoption rates

  • Develops and influences product strategy, driving products to provide comprehensive solutions across the bank

  • Serve as the Product Owner for Remote Deposit Online (RDO), with accountability for the complete product lifecycle, including product strategy, client experience, pricing and fee management, fraud controls, marketing initiatives, and ongoing product performance.

  • Define and execute product delivery and operational strategies, partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless fulfillment, service support, and continuous enhancement of the RDO experience.

  • Act as the Line of Business (LOB) lead for the Harland Clarke RDO Call Center and order fulfillment operations, overseeing performance, service quality, issue escalation, and vendor relationship management.

  • Own scanner inventory management processes, operational reporting, and optimization initiatives to improve fulfillment efficiency and client experience.

  • Identify and drive process improvement opportunities across the RDO ecosystem, enhancing operational effectiveness, reducing friction points, and supporting business objectives.

  • Serve as the primary Line of Business lead for RDO defect and issue management, coordinating cross-functional teams to prioritize, resolve, and communicate product and operational issues while minimizing client impact.

  • Partner with technology, operations, risk, fraud, marketing, and customer service teams to deliver product enhancements, manage product risk, and ensure alignment with broader business strategies.

  • Monitor product performance, customer feedback, operational metrics, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation, growth, and competitive differentiation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated strategic planning/product management skills

  • 7+ years of relevant experience

  • Product management experience with end-to-end ownership of a financial services or payments-related product.

  • Strong understanding of digital banking, remote deposit capture solutions, operational processes, and vendor management.

  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving technology, operations, risk, fraud, and client support teams.

  • Proven ability to drive process improvements, manage production issues, and execute strategic product initiatives.
