The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated
Senior Accountant
to join our growing Accounting team. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, this individual will play a critical role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, annual audit, equity accounting, and continuous process improvement
.
The ideal candidate combines a strong technical accounting foundation with a passion for automation, operational excellence, and scalable processes. This role is defined for a high-performing accounting professional who is ready to develop into an Accounting Manager within the next few year

Location: San Francisco, CA (3 days/week in office—Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays**

General Ledger & Month-End**

Prepare and review monthly journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and recurring en

tries.Own assigned balance sheet accounts, ensuring reconciliations are completed timely and accur

ately.Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement flux analyses and investigate significant vari

ances.Own assigned areas of the GL, including fixed assets, prepaids, leases, accruals, intercompany activity, and other complex accounting
-
areas.Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and Company accounting pol
-
icies.Own assigned components of monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities while consistently meeting close dead
**lines.
Equity Acc**

actions.Prepare monthly stock-based compensation accounting under

ASC 718.Partner with Legal, HR, equity administrator and Carta to ensure complete and accurate equity accounting

Prepare the Company’s annual draft audited financial statements, including all required footnotes and supporting disclosures for manageme

nt review.Prepare supporting schedules for monthly, quarterly and annual financial

reporting.Assist with the implementation of new accounting

standards.Research technical accounting matters and document accounting co

nclusions.Maintain accounting policies and technical accounting docu

About You
Bachelor’s degree in Acco

The base pay range target for the role seniority described in this job description is $131,000 - $156,000 in San Francisco, CA. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular positions are eligible for equity, 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits; some of these benefits may be available for part-ti
