About the Role

VRIZE is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a store associate clienteling product for a major US speciality retailer. You will define the product vision, requirements, priorities and release scope, working closely with the client’s business, store, product and technology stakeholders.

This is a hands on product leadership role. You will work onsite in New York and partner closely with a Lead UI/UX Designer and the client’s engineering and architecture teams.

What You Will Own

  • Define product vision, objectives, roadmap and release priorities for the clienteling experience.

  • Drive product discovery with business leaders, store associates and technology stakeholders.

  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Own and continuously prioritize the product backlog using a clear and defensible framework.

  • Lead scope and prioritization decisions across three release waves within the 22 week program.

  • Act as the primary product intake point and bring competing stakeholder priorities to clear decisions.

  • Maintain product decision, dependency, risk and issue registers and drive open items to closure.

  • Partner with design to keep the experience and design runway ahead of engineering delivery.

  • Validate delivered features against approved requirements and support release and rollout readiness.

  • Work across POS, CRM, loyalty, product catalog, inventory and order management integrations.

Must Have

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years in retail.

  • Proven experience owning or delivering a clienteling product or capability in a retail environment.

  • Experience with store facing or associate facing applications used on the sales floor.

  • Strong understanding of client books, customer outreach, attribution, associate adoption and retail selling workflows.

  • Hands on experience working with store leadership, district or regional teams and frontline associates.

  • Strong product discovery, requirements, backlog management and prioritization skills.

  • Experience working in a matrixed or client delivery environment without direct authority over engineering teams.

  • Strong technical fluency across APIs, integrations, data quality and event driven systems.

  • Experience with AI enabled recommendations or decision support, including explainability and confidence considerations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to drive decisions across senior stakeholders.

Good to Have

  • Experience in apparel, luxury or specialty retail.

  • Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Mad Mobile, Tulip, Endear or comparable retail platforms.

  • Experience with all store rollout and retail change management.

  • Multi brand or multi banner product experience.

  • Prior consulting or client facing delivery experience.

What Success Looks Like

  • Clear product vision, objectives and priorities aligned with client stakeholders.

  • A well structured backlog with requirements and acceptance criteria that engineering and QA can execute without ambiguity.

  • Timely product decisions that keep delivery moving and prevent avoidable rework.

  • Successful acceptance of each release wave and readiness for store rollout.

  • A clienteling experience that associates trust, adopt and use to build stronger customer relationships.

Location and Work Authorization

  • Must be based in the New York metropolitan area or relocate before joining.

  • Must be available to work onsite at the client location five days a week.

  • Occasional visits to stores within the New York metropolitan area may be required.

  • US work authorization is required. Visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.

Why VRIZE

  • Join a high visibility retail transformation program where you will have direct ownership of product outcomes, work with senior client stakeholders and shape a customer and associate experience at scale.
