Staff Accountant

Job Overview

mph club, is the #1 luxury and exotic car rental company in the nation. We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team at our Miami Gardens, FL location.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily payment posting

• Reconcile credit card transactions

• Complete bank reconciliations across 9 bank accounts

• Manage fleet-related accounting tasks, including onboarding new vehicles and processing vehicle offloads/dispositions

• Maintain and update the general ledger; prepare journal entries

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Prepare and analyze financial statements

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Assist with payroll processing

• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records

Qualifications

• Strong ability to multitask and manage competing priorities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

• Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field preferred

• Experience with Quickbooks Online preferred, but not required

• Experience with bank/credit card reconciliation strongly preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
