Product Manager

Product Manager

  • Remote contract opportunity

This is a Product Manager position—not a Project Manager position. This role is responsible for determining what products should be built, why they should be built, who they should serve, and how they create measurable business value. It is not responsible for managing project schedules, tracking tasks, coordinating delivery timelines, or serving as a traditional Project Manager. You will work closely with customers, engineering, UX/UI, sales, marketing, customer success, and executive leadership to identify market opportunities, define product strategy, validate customer needs, and deliver software solutions that solve meaningful business problems. We are looking for someone who is passionate about customer discovery, product strategy, and building products customers love. You should be equally comfortable interviewing users, analyzing market trends, collaborating with engineering, presenting to executives, and making data-informed product decisions. The ideal candidate has proven experience taking products from 0-1 and scaling them from 1-N, transforming ideas into successful software products through customer discovery, market validation, product strategy, experimentation, and cross-functional leadership. While you do not need to be an engineer, you should possess the technical fluency necessary to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, understand modern software platforms, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and make informed product decisions.

About the Role We believe the future of Product Management is AI-first—not AI-assisted. Engineering teams own architecture, technical design, and implementation. You own the product. You define the vision. You identify customer problems worth solving. You validate ideas before they’re built. You determine product priorities. You develop and communicate the roadmap. You align stakeholders around a shared product vision. You measure success through customer outcomes – not project completion. We build, validate, learn, and iterate continuously. AI is embedded throughout product discovery, customer research, planning, documentation, engineering collaboration, and product management. Success is measured by:

  • Customer adoption

  • Customer satisfaction

  • Business outcomes

  • Product growth

  • Working software —not project plans, meetings, or task completion. If you enjoy solving complex customer problems, influencing product direction, and building innovative software products, we'd love to talk. If you prefer managing schedules, coordinating project plans, or focusing primarily on Agile ceremonies, this role is probably not the right fit.

What You'll Own

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company objectives

  • Own the complete product lifecycle from discovery through launch and continuous product evolution

  • Lead customer discovery, user research, and market analysis to identify opportunities and validate product ideas

  • Translate customer insights into product strategy, MVPs, and prioritized product investments

  • Gather, prioritize, and refine product requirements based on customer needs, market trends, business objectives, and technical feasibility

  • Create and maintain product roadmaps, feature priorities, and product backlogs

  • Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements that enable successful engineering delivery

  • Partner closely with Engineering, UX/UI, QA, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and executive leadership throughout the product lifecycle

  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, product reviews, and release planning to ensure engineering teams are delivering the highest-value product initiatives

  • Define product success metrics and use customer feedback, KPIs, analytics, and business performance to guide product decisions

  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support to ensure successful product launches, customer adoption, and ongoing product success

  • Monitor competitive products, industry trends, emerging technologies, and AI advancements to identify future opportunities

  • Balance customer needs, business priorities, and technical constraints when making product decisions

  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap progress, business value, and product outcomes to executive leadership and stakeholders

  • Use AI as a core productivity and decision-making accelerator across research, planning, documentation, prioritization, and communication

  • Help establish and continuously improve AI-first Product Management practices across the organization

What AI-First Means Here You:

  • Use AI to accelerate customer research and product discovery

  • Leverage AI to summarize customer interviews and identify trends

  • Use AI to evaluate product opportunities and generate insights

  • Improve documentation, planning, prioritization, and communication using AI

  • Automate repetitive product management workflows

  • Think in scalable systems and repeatable processes
