Accountant – Accounting & Finance

Sukoon is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong finance experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, monitoring financial performance, preparing reports, and supporting management with financial planning and decision-making.

We are looking for someone with solid accounting knowledge, strong analytical skills, and practical experience in financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial control.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Monitor cash flow, company expenses, income, and financial transactions.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cost control.

• Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

• Monitor outstanding client payments and supplier balances.

• Manage payroll accounting and employee-related financial records.

• Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reduce costs, and strengthen internal controls.

• Coordinate with management, auditors, banks, suppliers, and clients on financial matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.

• Practical experience with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and applicable compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.

• Ability to work independently and provide accurate financial information to management.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a service-based company, facilities management, landscaping, or a similar operational business.

• Experience with job costing, project expenses, operational budgets, and profitability analysis.

• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are an advantage.

Pay: AED2,400.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
