Al Jazira Group is hiring an Accountant to join our team in Qatar.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and review daily accounting entries, including cheques and cash transactions.

• Monitor project accounts and costs, preferably with experience in the contracting sector.

• Prepare periodic financial reports (monthly and annual).

• Follow up on invoices and outstanding payments with suppliers and subcontractors.

• Coordinate with government authorities regarding VAT, Zakat, and other requirements, and prepare tax reports.

• Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile accounts.

• Monitor customer accounts and real estate projects.

• Knowledge of revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion accounting for projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in contracting or real estate.

• Good knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks / SAP.

• Good command of Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Must be currently residing in Qatar.

Pay: QAR2,452.02 - QAR6,802.62 per month
