Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support financial reporting and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.

• Reconcile membership and service revenue against cash, card payments, bank transfers, and sales reports.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, supplier invoices, and payment follow-up.

• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

• Review petty cash reports, receipts, and supporting documents.

• Support payroll processing and prepare related accounting entries.

• Complete month-end closing and prepare financial statements and management reports.

• Monitor expenses, cash flow, and budget variances.

• Maintain records of inventory, fixed assets, and related reconciliations.

• Coordinate with department heads to ensure transactions have appropriate documentation and approvals.

• Support external audits and applicable financial reporting requirements.

• Maintain confidentiality and follow company financial policies and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in Qatar or the GCC.

• Experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or another service business is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively with different departments.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.

• Must currently reside in Qatar and be eligible to transfer employment.

Pay: Up to QAR4,500.00 per month
