Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with 5–7 years of accounting experience, including proven hands-on experience in an interior fit-out company handling project accounting and cost control.

The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of project-wise accounting, cost monitoring, subcontractor payments, supplier accounts, customer invoicing, and project profitability. Experience in Saudi VAT and ZATCA compliance is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.

• Handle project-wise accounting for interior fit-out projects, monitoring budgets, actual costs, and profitability.

• Track project expenses, including materials, labor, subcontractors, and site expenses.

• Monitor project variations, retention amounts, customer advances, and outstanding payments.

• Process supplier and subcontractor invoices and prepare payment schedules.

• Prepare customer invoices, follow up on outstanding receivables, and maintain aging reports.

• Prepare project cost reports, budget-versus-actual analysis, and monthly financial statements.

• Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and perform regular account reconciliations.

• Assist with VAT returns, ZATCA compliance, and other applicable Saudi tax requirements.

• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and financial reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Mandatory: Previous experience in an interior fit-out company, specifically handling project accounting and cost control.

• Strong knowledge of project costing, subcontractor accounting, supplier payments, and customer collections.

• Familiarity with Saudi VAT and ZATCA requirements.

• Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is mandatory.

Pay: ﷼4,500.00 - ﷼7,000.00 per month
