Accountant General

COMPANY PROFILE

Nexus Business Partners Pty Ltd is a full-service tax solution provider. We handle all kinds of income tax returns for individuals; partnerships; companies; trusts and superannuation funds. We have innovative ways to fulfil our client’s Business Activities Statements (BAS), State tax returns and workers compensation obligations. We handle tax and workers compensation audits.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Create General Journal entries for authorisation

· Data entry & posting to ledger accounts, reconcile General Ledger Accounts as directed

· Collating of accounting and taxation information and data, prepare tax returns for individuals and organizations

· Assist organizations prepare budgeting and financial reports, and perform financial analysis as required

· Assist senior accountants provide financials and taxation advice on business structure, plans and operations

· Provide advice to clients for selection and application of computer-based accounting systems

· Provide support to the accounting team as required

· Develop and maintain business intelligence reports

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications: Degree holder in Accountancy

Experience: 2 years relevant experience is a must

Skills:

· Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

· Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese

· Proficiency in office administration and equipment handling

· Positive and proactive personality

· Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is prefered

PERFORMANCE GOALS:

· Complete assigned tasks on time with excellent accuracy

· Deal with clients, governing authorities, and other employees professionally at all times

· Commit to ongoing improvement of technical proficiency

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year

• Bachelor Degree (Preferred)

Experience:

• Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• CPA (Preferred)

• CA (Preferred)
