We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team! Responsibilities

Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using various financial software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or Workday.

Conduct detailed data entry and excel data analysis to support financial reporting and auditing activities.

Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and governmental accounting standards.

Handle confidential information with integrity while managing financial concepts related to budgeting, credit analysis, and tax preparation.

Assist with month-end closing procedures, including ledger review and variance analysis.

Support technical accounting tasks such as journal entries, account reconciliation, and audit preparation using tools like Microsoft Office and specialized accounting systems like PeopleSoft or Ceridian.
Experience

Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with familiarity in public accounting or corporate accounting environments.

Hands-on experience with financial software such as ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, or similar systems is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of GAAP, governmental accounting standards, and internal controls like SOX compliance.

Demonstrated ability in account reconciliation, balance sheet management, and double-entry bookkeeping.

Proficiency in Excel data analysis, spreadsheets management, and 10-key typing skills for efficient data entry.

Excellent numeracy skills combined with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Prior experience handling confidential information securely while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

Pay: $61,470.80 - $74,029.35 per year
