About the Role

• Manage daily Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including reviewing invoices, processing payments, maintaining vendor records, and resolving discrepancies

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including posting customer payments, monitoring outstanding balances, and maintaining accurate records

• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks, including preparing and posting journal entries and ensuring general ledger accuracy

• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations while reviewing balance sheet accounts and investigating discrepancies

• Assist with month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, payroll-related accounting, and additional accounting and finance projects as needed

Key Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience required, including experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks, journal entries, general ledger accounting, debits and credits, and account reconciliations

• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and experience assisting with month-end close and financial reporting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office, with strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, work independently, and contribute to a collaborative team
