Accountant

Role Description

This full-time Accountant role at Sampa Automotive is an on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including posting entries to the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely recording of revenue and expenses. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and management reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves monitoring compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards, as well as assisting with audits and responding to financial data inquiries from internal stakeholders. The Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support process improvements, and contribute to maintaining accurate financial documentation and records.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and account reconciliation.

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support decision-making.

• Proficiency with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, as well as MS Excel.

• Knowledge of applicable accounting standards and principles, and familiarity with audit procedures.

• Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

• Ability to work collaboratively on-site in a multicultural environment and maintain professional integrity.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.

• Previous accounting experience in manufacturing or automotive sectors is an advantage.
