- About Our Client:

- About the Opportunity:
The Accountant plays a crucial role in supporting the finance team by maintaining financial records, assisting with the monthly close process, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting efforts. This position ensures accurate financial reporting and helps identify opportunities for process improvements, thereby supporting the organization''s financial integrity and operational efficiency.
- Responsibilities:
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Participate in coding, approval, payment, and reconciliation of vendor invoices, expense reports, and other accounts payable functions.
• Record payroll-related journal entries and accruals.
• Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledgers.
• Identify and evaluate areas for process improvement and automation.
• Perform regular and ad-hoc financial statement analyses and report variances.
• Research and analyze expense variances for management.
• Support budget and forecasting data collection.
• Participate in special projects, including new accounting standards implementation, software tools deployment, and regulatory reporting.
- Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is desirable but not required.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to cross-train and eagerness to learn.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Experience with QuickBooks and/or NetSuite.
• High integrity, ethics, and sound judgment.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong ownership, urgency, and follow-through on projects.
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Competitive pay ranging from $60,000 to $65,000 based on candidate''s skills, experience, knowledge, geographic location, and other variables.
