Accounting Operations Specialist

Remote | Full-Time | $50,000–$60,000/year

We're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting Operations Specialist to join our fully remote team!

We serve thousands of clients, and we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys keeping things organized, solving problems, working with numbers, and making sure the financial side of the business runs smoothly.

This person will primarily oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, and client billing issues/disputes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing accounts receivable & accounts payable

• Handling day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks

• Reconciling accounts and keeping our books organized

• Helping clients with billing questions, payment issues, refunds, and disputes

• Tracking down discrepancies and finding solutions

• Keeping accurate financial records

• Working alongside our team through Slack, Asana, QuickBooks, and other online tools

• Helping us continue improving our financial systems and processes

• Working alongside our leadership team to give accurate numbers timely

Who We're Looking For

We'd love someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable working independently, and isn't afraid to dig into a problem and figure it out.

Because of the size of our client base, previous experience is a must for this position.

You must have:

• 2–5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, A/R, A/P, or a similar accounting role

• 2+ years of hands-on QuickBooks experience

• 2+ years of experience working remotely/from home

• Experience managing a high volume of clients, accounts, or transactions

• Strong attention to detail

• Great written communication skills

• Confidence handling client billing questions and disputes professionally

Experience with Slack and Asana is also required.

Compensation & Position

$50,000–$60,000/year, depending on experience. We are open to structuring this as either a full-time employee position or a full-time contract role for the right person. This is a fully remote position.
