HumanitApp is sharing a paid research opportunity for engineers with experience developing and operating production LLM agents and direct insight into their use within organizations.

Relevant experience

Candidates should be able to discuss practical experience in the following areas:
Delivering agent systems used in production and addressing reliability issues or failures.
Evaluating agent performance and identifying improvements or regressions following system changes.
Operating persistent agent workflows, scheduled tasks, or cloud-based execution environments.
Understanding the adoption of internal AI assistants, including barriers to effective use.

Discussion topics

The discussion will explore agents connected to company data, shared organizational memory, reusable skills and playbooks, tool and MCP integrations, observability, and operating costs. Specific examples of engineering decisions, evaluation methods, and operational tradeoffs are particularly relevant.

Application process and compensation

The application begins with a brief conversational AI interview. No coding assessment or take-home assignment is required.

Selected applicants will be invited to a 30-minute live discussion with the project team. Compensation for completing that discussion ranges from $100 to $500, depending on depth of experience. Compensation applies to the live discussion, not the initial screening interview.

This is a remote, task-based research engagement, not a salaried engineering position.
