About Us

Healthcare Retroactive Audits, Inc. uses technology and automation to help hospitals recover revenue they are owed. We are growing our engineering team and looking for someone to help build practical AI-driven tools that support this work.

The Role

This is a hands-on engineering role building and maintaining internal software and automation. You will work closely with our CIO on tools that process data and documents, and you will own your work with real responsibility. This is a build-and-ship role in a regulated, data-sensitive environment, so reliability and good judgment matter as much as raw coding.

What We're Looking For

• Solid software engineering experience, with strong Python.

• Experience working with databases and moving data between systems.

• Hands-on experience building applications that use large language models.

• Comfort turning documents and unstructured information into usable, structured data.

• Care for reliability, security, and doing things correctly in a regulated setting.

• Clear communication and the ability to work independently.

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and standard development tools.
