About the role

Seeking an experienced AI Solutions Engineer with strong hands-on software engineering skills and practical experience building and delivering AI/LLM-powered solutions

. This role will focus on developing production-ready AI applications, integrating systems and APIs, working directly with business users, and delivering solutions across a variety of engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deploy production-ready software solutions using Python.
Build AI/LLM solutions involving orchestration, retrieval, tool calling, prompt design, and evaluation

.
Develop and integrate MCP servers, APIs, and other connector solutions for production environments.
Design and implement integrations across APIs, data pipelines, event streams, and authentication systems

.
Work directly with non-technical users and business stakeholders to understand requirements and conduct discovery.
Scope technical solutions based on business needs and deliver working solutions within engagement requirements.
Explain technical concepts and tradeoffs clearly to business stakeholders.
Train teams and users on solutions that have been developed and deployed.
Troubleshoot integration and application issues and adapt solutions as requirements evolve.
Work effectively across multiple engagements with changing priorities and technical requirements.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on software engineering experience.
Strong Python development experience with practical experience shipping working software to users.
Applied experience building solutions with Large Language Models (LLMs)

Experience with LLM orchestration, retrieval, tool calling, prompt design, and evaluation

.
Experience developing MCP servers, API integrations, or equivalent connector solutions in production.
Strong systems integration experience across APIs, data pipelines, event streams, and authentication

.
Demonstrated ability to work directly with non-technical users and business stakeholders.
Experience conducting discovery, understanding business requirements, and scoping technical solutions.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to business owners

.
Ability to train teams and users on technical solutions.
Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and adapting to shifting priorities across engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Generative AI and LLM application development

.
Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and production MCP server development.
Experience with RAG/retrieval systems, AI agents, and tool-enabled LLM applications

.
Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise APIs, data platforms, and business applications

.
Experience working in consulting, client-facing engineering, solutions engineering, or similar environments.
Strong understanding of production AI systems, system integration, and application architecture

Compensation :

Estimated hourly range:

$60–$70/hr (W-2)

.
Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
