We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI Systems Engineer to lead the development and deployment of advanced artificial intelligence solutions within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and software development, with a focus on integrating AI capabilities into scalable, secure, and efficient platforms. As an AI Systems Engineer, you will collaborate across teams to design, implement, and optimize AI-driven applications and services that meet our strategic objectives and enhance operational performance.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable AI systems leveraging cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and OpenStack to support enterprise-level applications.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet to automate deployment processes and manage cloud infrastructure efficiently.
Develop and maintain microservices architectures utilizing containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to ensure system scalability and resilience.
Integrate various cloud services including S3 storage, Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions to optimize data flow and system performance.
Collaborate with software developers to build RESTful APIs and web services that facilitate seamless communication between AI models and client applications.
Manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions to ensure secure access controls across cloud environments.
Conduct system hardening, security assessments, and performance tuning to uphold high standards of reliability, security, and compliance within cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Rackspace, or Citrix.
Strong knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), distributed systems, virtualization technologies like VMware, and cloud management tools.
Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Java, Go, Ruby on Rails, PowerShell, Bash scripting, or Node.js for software development and automation tasks.
Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker for deploying scalable applications.
Familiarity with database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.
Expertise in DevOps automation practices involving Jenkins, Git version control system, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet for continuous integration and deployment workflows.
Knowledge of operating systems including Linux/Unix/Windows environments along with virtualization techniques like Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and VPNs for secure connectivity.
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals related to algorithms, system architecture design, REST APIs, web services development, and application security best practices.
