Work Schedule : Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.

The Opportunity

Provides support - recommendations in several areas. Contacts are primarily with immediate manager, other personnel in group or support staff from other areas. Establish processes to anticipate customer needs. Work collaboratively with the rest of the organization and Ally business units to fulfill consumer needs and ensure corporate objectives and all compliance requirements are met (e.g., OPEX, timeliness metrics, accuracy metrics, customer satisfaction metrics, cross-sell metrics, employee development, etc.). Lead to succeed vs. managing to avoid failure. Drive strategic imperatives by maintaining regular communications with employees or vendor partners.

The Work Itself

  • Under general direction, responsible for performing complex research and analysis to support business operations and present findings to manager or project leader.

  • Assist in drafting, interpreting and administering operational policies and procedures.

  • Develop, validate and maintain step-by-step instructions/training materials.

  • Monitor performance to identify and help correct performance problems and provide feedback regarding areas requiring attention.

  • Bring compliance issues and proposed solutions to the attention of manager or project leader.

  • May be responsible to work with the site leader and operations managers to improve their value stream/process performance through the identification and completion of Lean Six Sigma projects and work with the Business Process Excellence Leaders to ensure standardization and promotion of the process excellence program.

The Qualifications We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ years in customer service or financial services industry .

  • Bachelor's degree in business related discipline

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years in customer service or financial services industry is needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in business related discipline preferred.

  • Prior leadership experience is needed.

  • Education may be used as a proxy for experience.

  • Ability to perform technical based activities.

  • Knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts.

  • Leveraging technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results.

  • Ability to produce documents, spreadsheets, databases, etc. with Windows-based software, as well as proficiency with the Internet, ideally this will include experience with Six Sigma-based software.

  • Leveraging data visualizations and analysis to contribute to strategy and drive business results.

  • Proficient with Power BI, DAX, SQL, Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets, databases, etc. with Windows-based software.

  • Exposure to Python and AI and adaptability to nextgen technologies.

Base Pay Range

$65,000.00 - $115,000.00

An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.

Incentive Compensation:

This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
