Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

Analytics Engineer

to build scalable data models, develop analytics solutions, and deliver business insights using AWS data services. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL, Tableau, Python, and AWS data platform experience.

Key Responsibilities

Data Modeling & Analytics

• Design and maintain scalable data models for reporting and analytics.

• Query and transform large datasets using AWS services including Redshift, Athena, S3, and Glue.

• Develop optimized SQL queries, views, and datasets for analytical reporting.

• Build and maintain star schemas, SCDs, and incremental data models.

BI & Reporting

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.

• Create semantic layers, metric definitions, and business-friendly datasets.

• Deliver executive-level reporting and operational performance insights.

• Support self-service analytics capabilities across the business.

Data Engineering & Cloud Integration

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Python.

• Work with AWS data services to manage data ingestion, transformation, and reporting.

• Ensure data accuracy, performance, and governance across analytics platforms.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.

• Translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.

• Support ongoing enhancements and optimization of analytics platforms.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, BI, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering.

• Strong experience developing Tableau dashboards and reports.

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Python experience (Pandas, Boto3).

• Experience working with large-scale enterprise datasets.

Technical Skills

• Advanced SQL including:

• Window Functions

• Query Optimization

• Performance Tuning

• Partitioning Strategies

• Strong understanding of:

• Data Modeling

• Star Schema Design

• Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)

• Columnar Data Formats (Parquet, ORC)

• Hands-on experience with:

• Amazon Redshift

• Amazon Athena

• Amazon S3

• AWS Glue

• AWS IAM

Nice to Have

• AWS Step Functions experience.

• Experience with AWS Data Exports and Cost & Usage Reporting.

• Knowledge of IoT or device telemetry analytics.

• Tableau or AWS certifications.
