Android Developer (US)

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native Android applications.

• Build responsive, user‑friendly interfaces with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

• Integrate REST APIs, third‑party services, and local databases.

• Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.

• Write unit and UI tests and debug issues.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams.

• Manage app releases and updates through Google Play Console.

• Follow coding standards and modern Android development practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2–5 years of hands‑on Android development experience.

• Experience publishing or maintaining production Android applications.

• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

• Experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging and other Firebase services.

• Knowledge of advanced performance profiling tools.

• Exposure to multiple Android UI frameworks (Compose and XML).
