Job Summary:

We are looking for an Android Developer to support a leading banking client in San Leandro, CA. This is a hybrid contract role (W2 preferred).

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Android mobile application development

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin

• Experience developing applications for a wide range of Android devices

• Ability to translate business requirements, designs, and wireframes into high-quality code

• Experience designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reusable, and reliable applications

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, cloud messaging APIs & push notifications

• Experience with code versioning tools (Git) and continuous integration

• Ability to identify bottlenecks, optimize performance, and fix bugs

• Strong collaboration skills and commitment to quality product development

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Banking/financial domain experience is a plus
