Job Description

DigitalCM is seeking an experienced Apple Software Engineer to develop production applications across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro. Our engineers work on applications involving spatial computing, offline AI, 3D environments, LiDAR, geospatial data, digital twins, communications, and advanced visualization. This position requires someone capable of independently owning features rather than simply completing assigned coding tickets.

Job Summary

  • Develop and maintain Swift and SwiftUI applications.

  • Own features from requirements through release.

  • Develop applications for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS and contribute to visionOS applications.

  • Integrate REST APIs, local databases, and backend services.

  • Build reliable offline-first application capabilities.

  • Implement automated testing and debugging processes.

  • Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot performance and integration issues.

  • Work with UI/UX personnel to convert concepts into production software.

  • Integrate local and cloud-based AI capabilities where appropriate.

  • Participate in customer demonstrations and technical discussions.

  • Help establish realistic development milestones and estimates.

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional software development.

  • Strong Swift and SwiftUI experience.

  • Xcode and Apple development lifecycle.

  • Git/GitHub, API integration, and SQL/local data persistence.

  • Networking fundamentals, testing, and debugging. U.S.-based and authorized to work in the United States.

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)

  • Comply with the provisions of the corporations Standard Practice Procedures manual and DoD 5220.22-M when handling classified material to include generating, marking, storing, handling, and destroying of classified material

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with visionOS, RealityKit, ARKit, RoomPlan, LiDAR, Metal, MapKit, GIS, 3D graphics, AI/ML, LLMs, or cybersecurity is particularly valuable. We're looking for engineers who enjoy solving difficult technical problems and want significant ownership of what they build.
