About this role

New York companies in the Yara Network are hiring applied ML engineers onto in-person teams. One is hiring ten for its applied ML group alone. The work is production LLM systems for real customers: agent orchestration, tool use, retrieval, evals, and the model-side engineering that makes an AI product trustworthy in finance and enterprise settings.

Who this is for

• You've shipped something LLM-powered that real people used, and you own the model side of it.

• You know the difference between a wrapper and a system, because you've had to fix the wrapper.

• You want to be in the room. These teams are in Manhattan, in the office most of the week.

• Your ML work sits on real engineering fundamentals, and interviews confirm it.

• You want to work at the companies defining this wave, on the team that owns the models.

You may be a good fit if you have

• 3 to 10 years in software or ML engineering with production LLM systems in the last two

• Python, plus strong fundamentals in TypeScript or Go

• Agent systems in production: orchestration, tool-calling, retrieval, evals, human-in-the-loop

• Fine-tuning, distillation, or inference optimization experience is a strong plus

• You live in the New York area, or you're ready to move for the right team

• Links to anything agentic you've built
