Arabic Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Arabic Accountant to join our finance team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping activities.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and supplier reconciliations.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Support internal and external audit activities.

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.

• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial and accounting matters.

• Assist in VAT-related documentation and reporting where applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Experience using ERP and accounting software.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).

• Must be currently available in Qatar.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in trading, automotive, retail, or service industries.

• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent will be an advantage.

• Knowledge of Qatar financial and business practices.
