Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and professional

Arabic Language Teacher

to provide dedicated Arabic language tuition to an individual and family based in Doha.

The primary focus will be teaching

spoken Khaleeji Arabic, with particular emphasis on the Qatari dialect

, developing practical and conversational Arabic for everyday, social and cultural situations.

The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of

Qatari language, expressions, pronunciation and local culture

. As the family travels regularly, the teacher must also be comfortable with international travel to ensure continuity of lessons when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured and personalised Arabic lessons.

• Focus primarily on conversational Khaleeji and Qatari Arabic.

• Develop lesson plans based on individual proficiency levels and learning objectives.

• Teach Qatari vocabulary, pronunciation, expressions and cultural context.

• Prepare appropriate learning materials and conversational exercises.

• Adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and proficiency levels.

• Monitor progress and adjust lessons accordingly.

• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality and discretion at all times.

• Travel internationally when required to maintain continuity of lessons.

Candidate Requirements

• Fluent/native-level Arabic speaker with a strong command of the Qatari dialect.

• Previous experience as an Arabic Language Teacher or Tutor.

• Strong understanding of Khaleeji Arabic and Qatari culture.

• Experience teaching Arabic to non-native speakers is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Professional, patient, adaptable and discreet.

• Flexible regarding working arrangements and scheduling.

• Willing and able to travel internationally when required.

• Relevant teaching or Arabic language qualifications preferred.
