Role Overview

We are seeking

Forward Deployed Engineers with a strong application development background in Java and/or .NET/C#

to design and ship production-grade

agentic AI applications

across Finance, HR, Legal, Procurement, Marketing, and Sales.

This is a

hands-on software engineering role

. The ideal candidate should be an experienced application developer who can architect, code, integrate, deploy, and support enterprise applications while leveraging modern AI and Azure technologies.

You will work directly with business/process owners to take real business problems from

idea → prototype → production

, typically in weeks rather than quarters.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy

  agentic AI applications

  that read from and write to enterprise systems of record.

• Develop production applications using

  Java, .NET/C#, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript

  , or similar technologies.

• Work as the technical lead within a small cross-functional team, partnering with business and process owners.

• Build enterprise APIs, integrations, workflows, and services with secure read/write capabilities.

• Use

  Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI services

  to build scalable and governed AI solutions.

• Develop solutions using

  Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform

  , and agent-builder technologies where appropriate.

• Implement

  RAG, prompt/context design, agent orchestration, tool use, multi-agent workflows, and MCP

  .

• Design for

  state management, concurrency, idempotency, authorization, reliability, scalability, and observability

  .

• Ensure data is AI-ready, properly modeled, governed, documented, and secured in Fabric.

• Rapidly prototype, gather feedback, iterate, and move successful solutions into production.

• Make the right technology choice between

  low-code/agent-builder platforms and custom application development

  .

• Establish reusable technical patterns, components, guardrails, and engineering standards.

• Independently make architecture and feasibility decisions and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software/application development experience.

• Strong Java and/or .NET/C# background — MUST HAVE.

• Hands-on experience with

  enterprise application development, APIs, microservices, databases, and system integrations

  .

• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft technologies and Azure experience.

• Experience with

  Azure AI services and Microsoft's Agentic AI ecosystem

  .

• Experience with

  Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI Foundry, or similar agent-builder platforms

  .

• Proven experience building

  production-grade agentic or AI applications serving real users

  , not just demos or POCs.

• Strong understanding of

  RAG, prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration, tool use, MCP, and modern AI application patterns

  .

• Strong cloud engineering skills — able to

  provision, configure, deploy, secure, monitor, and operate Azure applications end to end

  .

• Hands-on experience integrating with

  enterprise APIs and systems of record

  , including safe read/write paths and failure handling.

• Strong understanding of

  state management, concurrency, idempotency, authorization, security, scalability, and reliability

  .

• Experience with

  Microsoft Fabric

  and governed enterprise data is highly valuable.

• Ability to rapidly prototype using

  AI-assisted development and fast engineering iterations

  .

• Strong senior-level judgment, ownership, communication, and ability to work independently.
