Job description

The ideal candidate is a commercially minded digital marketer who understands that successful digital marketing is not defined by how many leads are generated, but by how efficiently marketing investment produces customers, revenue, lifetime value, and sustainable business value.

They should be equally comfortable discussing CAC, LTV, LTV:CAC, conversion, revenue, budget, and profitability with management as they are discussing SEO, media, CRM, AI, automation, APIs, attribution, and digital platforms with technical teams.

The candidate must be able to look beyond advertising dashboards, understand what is happening throughout the business funnel, identify what is affecting acquisition economics and customer value, and take action accordingly.

The role is suited to someone who thinks like a business owner first and a digital marketer second, while having the technological curiosity and operational capability required to drive PSI's digital, AI, and MarTech agenda.

Role Purpose

The Assistant Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the commercial and operational performance of PSI's digital marketing ecosystem, including digital acquisition, marketing technology, AI initiatives, digital platforms, search visibility, automation, and technology-driven marketing projects.

This is not a traditional digital marketing role focused solely on campaigns, impressions, leads, or Cost Per Lead.

The role is expected to understand and manage digital marketing as a business and revenue function, with direct accountability for digital marketing P&L, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), LTV:CAC ratio, revenue contribution, conversion efficiency, marketing investment, and overall business impact.

The successful candidate must be able to connect marketing activity to commercial outcomes and understand how media spend, lead quality, conversion rates, sales performance, transaction value, customer lifetime value, technology, customer journeys, and operational efficiency ultimately affect revenue and profitability.

The role acts as a key bridge between Marketing, Sales, Technology, Data, CRM, Product teams, Finance, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Digital P&L & Commercial Ownership

  • Own and manage the digital marketing P&L within the agreed business framework.

  • Manage digital marketing budgets based on expected revenue, customer acquisition, customer lifetime value, conversion, and profitability.

  • Evaluate digital marketing performance based on commercial outcomes rather than media metrics alone.

  • Use Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) as core measures of acquisition economics.

  • Monitor and optimize the LTV:CAC ratio to ensure customer acquisition remains commercially sustainable.

  • Understand the relationship between marketing spend, lead volume, lead quality, conversion rates, transaction value, revenue, gross margin, CAC, and LTV.

Digital Marketing Management

  • Lead the planning, execution, governance, and optimization of PSI's digital marketing activities.

  • Manage digital acquisition across paid search, paid social, display, programmatic, portals, websites, landing pages, and other digital channels.

  • Optimize campaigns based on customer acquisition and business outcomes rather than lead volume alone.

  • Evaluate channel performance based on CAC, LTV, LTV:CAC, conversion, revenue contribution, quality, efficiency, and scalability.

Digital Performance & Unit Economics

The role must maintain a strong understanding of digital marketing economics, including:

  • Customer Acquisition Cost . CAC

  • Customer Lifetime Value . LTV
