Associate - Business/Data Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst / Business Analyst to support OmniVista clients across the financial services industry, including Fortune 100 firms, hedge funds, mutual funds, and asset managers.

This role focuses on maintaining data quality, performing system testing, and assisting with ongoing client operations. Responsibilities are continuous and recurring rather than limited to individual projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work with complex datasets while adapting to evolving client and business needs.

Responsibilities

Data Quality and Reconciliation

• Maintain data accuracy through reconciliation, review, and investigation of data breaks.

• Perform initial analysis to identify potential sources of discrepancies and collaborate with internal teams, clients, and software providers to resolve issues.

• Support ongoing data governance activities by reviewing, testing, and validating system and data changes.

QA and System Testing

• Perform QA and regression testing for updates, new features, and system enhancements across internal and client-facing platforms.

• Document test results and work with development teams to ensure issues are addressed.

Business Analysis and Requirements

• Gather and analyze business requirements for system changes, workflows, and operational processes.

• Contribute to best practices for requirements gathering, testing standards, and team communication.

Client Support and Operations

• Support client workflows, daily operations, and ongoing business needs.

• Troubleshoot production issues and assist with resolving data-related problems while maintaining system accuracy.

• Perform ad hoc data analysis and Excel-based projects as needed.

• Help maintain project tracking tools and support process improvement initiatives.

Client Relationship Management

• Build trust with clients by providing reliable support and maintaining high levels of satisfaction.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required. Degrees in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Investments, or related fields are preferred.

• Familiarity with the financial services or investment management industry is preferred.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with complex datasets.

• Experience with data analysis, reconciliation, and data quality review.

• Familiarity with SQL, database systems, or related data tools is preferred.

• Experience with software QA, regression testing, or testing new system features is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including investigating issues and identifying root causes.

• Ability to maintain data integrity and assist in resolving system or database-related issues.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and external software providers.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple ongoing priorities.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and adapting to changing client needs.

• Ability to quickly build confidence and trust with diverse clients and team members.

Pay: From AED1.00 per month
