Associate Data Scientist

Since 2019, it has expanded from car insurance brokerage to include driving insights, diagnostics, and a repair marketplace, serving over 5 million customers. The company has demonstrated significant growth, raising substantial capital, scaling revenue, and achieving profitability. It is currently expanding into adjacent verticals such as home, motorcycle, and RV asset management.

2. About the Opportunity:

The Associate Data Scientist role is part of the central Data Science & Analytics team and focuses on embedding within key business units such as growth, product, AI and automation, or strategic partnerships. The position drives analytical functions end-to-end, shaping key business questions, generating insights, and influencing decisions that support the organization’s goal to expand its customer base and business impact.

3. Responsibilities:

• Define and clarify business problems to ensure analyses address the correct questions.

• Develop metrics, build reports, run analyses, and design experiments to generate actionable insights.

• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders across product, growth, finance, and operations.

• Own the analytical process and execution within the assigned business unit.

4. Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in consulting, investment banking, or high-growth technology environments.

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL or Python.

• Proven ability to tackle ambiguous problems and deliver measurable impact.

• Effective and direct communication skills to influence leadership decisions.
