  JOB SUMMARY

  Global Shop Solutions is hiring an Associate Software Engineer on Product & Engineering. We are an AI-forward engineering organization, and this entry-level role expects you to use AI-assisted tools as a regular part of development, not an occasional experiment. Under experienced engineers, you'll contribute to production software, internal tools, and workflows while learning when AI accelerates good work and when human judgment must lead. A strong fit for recent graduates, career changers, or early-career developers ready to grow toward Software Engineer.

  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to design, implementation, testing, and code review, using AI-assisted tools responsibly in everyday development

  • Experiment with AI use cases, surface opportunities and limitations in team adoption, and help improve workflows and documentation

  • Communicate progress and blockers clearly, ask clarifying questions, and collaborate effectively with the team

  JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship

  • CS degree or equivalent practical experience (portfolio, internships, or professional work)

  • Programming fundamentals and independent project experience

  • AI-forward mindset: experience using AI tools to build projects or automations, with curiosity about where AI helps and where it does not

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Source control

  • Basic SQL

  • .NET or enterprise software exposure
