About the Opportunity:
The ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER will design, develop, and test applications and components that meet technical specifications and business requirements. The role involves collaboration with Business Analysts to develop requirements and contributes directly to advancing the organization's technology capabilities to support its healthcare mission.
Responsibilities:

Design, code, test, and debug applications and components per technical specifications and business requirements

Collaborate closely with Business Analysts on requirements development

Perform other duties as assigned according to leadership decisions and business needs
Requirements:
-
High school diploma required
-
Minimum six months experience using AI tools in the software development lifecycle to improve quality and efficiency

Minimum six months experience with at least one object-oriented programming language
-
United States citizenship
-
Ability to obtain and maintain a suitability or eligibility determination for Confidential/Secret or Top Secret security clearance
Preferred Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field

Experience with MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases
-
Experience with .NET Core or similar object-oriented programming languages
-
Experience with Angular, React, or other JavaScript frameworks/libraries
-
Experience with application containerization, deployment, and orchestration
-
Experience with CI/CD and test automation
-
Experience building cloud-native applications in Azure or similar platforms
-
Basic understanding of Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, networking, internet protocols

Knowledge of encryption, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and OWAS

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
-
Salary range from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employment
