This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AVP, Product Manager - Deposit Solutions based in United States.

This senior product leadership role owns the strategy, development, and performance of deposit solutions within a large financial services organization.

You will translate enterprise deposit strategy into actionable roadmaps that drive member acquisition, engagement, retention, and balance growth.

The position combines product management, marketing, analytics, pricing, and cross-functional leadership to deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will serve as a subject matter expert across deposit products, digital banking, payments, regulatory requirements, and competitive dynamics.

Working closely with Finance, Marketing, Analytics, and other teams, you will identify opportunities, launch initiatives, and continuously optimize portfolio performance.

The role offers significant ownership, requiring a player-coach mindset and the ability to move confidently between strategic planning and hands-on execution.

You will also help shape the future of deposit products while developing teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and strengthening member relationships.

Accountabilities:

The AVP, Product Manager - Deposit Solutions will own the full deposit product lifecycle and be accountable for translating strategic priorities into initiatives that deliver measurable growth and profitability.

  • Translate executive deposit strategy into detailed operational plans, roadmaps, and measurable initiatives.

  • Provide frontline insights that ensure product strategies are practical, customer-focused, and aligned with operational realities.

  • Partner with Finance and ALCO on deposit pricing strategy and connect pricing direction with effective product execution.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for deposit products, including workflows, systems, regulatory requirements, pricing, and market dynamics.

  • Lead new deposit product development and product refresh initiatives from concept through launch and post-launch optimization.

  • Define product requirements, conduct market research, coordinate cross-functional delivery, develop go-to-market strategies, and support enablement.

  • Develop initiatives that increase checking account penetration, primary account adoption, average balances, and member engagement.

  • Drive debit card product enhancements, adoption, and utilization.

  • Partner across the organization to strengthen engagement with related products and services, including direct deposit, digital banking, payments, and digital wallets.

  • Monitor deposit portfolio health, campaign performance, member behavior, attrition, and pricing effectiveness using analytics and experimentation.

  • Work with analytics teams to develop dashboards, conduct A/B testing, and turn data-driven insights into action.

  • Develop and execute targeted retention, win-back, balance optimization, and member lifecycle programs.

  • Lead the Deposit Steering Committee by setting agendas, facilitating decisions, tracking actions, resolving blockers, and maintaining cross-functional alignment.

  • Identify compliant, member-friendly opportunities to generate non-interest income through fees, interchange, and digital payment adoption.

  • Lead promotional, seasonal, onboarding, funding, engagement, renewal, and win-back initiatives in partnership with Marketing.

  • Communicate product strategy, performance, risks, and opportunities clearly to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • Provide coaching, feedback, and development support to direct reports or project team members as applicable.

  • Maintain ownership of outcomes while proactively addressing risks, issues, and dependencies.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings extensive financial services product experience, strong knowledge of deposit solutions, and the ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and data-driven decision-making.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in product management or product marketing within financial services, preferably focused on deposit products.

  • Proven track record of generating measurable growth through product innovation and marketing initiatives.

  • Deep knowledge of deposit products, pricing strategies, regulatory requirements such as Reg E and Reg DD, fee disclosures, and competitive dynamics.

  • Credit union or community banking experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently investigate data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

  • Experience with customer journey orchestration, research methodologies, experimentation, and test-and-learn frameworks.

  • Understanding of digital banking ecosystems, mobile engagement, and digital wallet adoption strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities while maintaining accountability for outcomes.

  • Excellent executive-level presentation, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to structure, prioritize, and resolve complex issues.

  • Adaptability, initiative, self-direction, and a growth-oriented mindset.

  • Strong technology and data literacy, with proficiency in Windows-based applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Excellent written and spoken English, with strong attention to accuracy and professionalism.

  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels and across diverse functions.

  • Ability to learn specialized systems and applications quickly and adapt effectively to changing business needs.

  • Ability to work extensively with computers and communicate through digital collaboration tools such as Zoom and Teams.

  • Salary based on qualifications and geographic location:

  • Zone 1: $120,304–$165,418 per year.

  • Zone 2: $109,476.64–$150,530.38 per year.

  • Zone 3: $101,055.36–$138,951.12 per year.

  • Zone 4: $96,243.20–$132,334.40 per year.

  • Eligibility for a Corporate Incentive Plan with an annual incentive opportunity of 0–8% of incentive-eligible earnings, based on institutional and individual performance.
