BI Developer

Reporting to the General Manager – Technology, this role presents an exciting opportunity to play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining enterprise reporting solutions. You’ll transform complex data into intuitive dashboards and reports that enable informed decision-making, provide valuable business insights and support ongoing performance.

Key Responsibilities

 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop and maintain a standardised suite of Power BI dashboards and reports for operational and strategic business reporting.

• Extract, transform and analyse data from multiple sources using Power BI technologies.

• Optimise report performance, usability and visualisation design to enhance the end-user experience.

• Perform reporting governance, validation and quality assurance activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Maintain comprehensive reporting documentation, including technical specifications, data definitions and user guides.

• Deliver training and support to business users, enabling greater adoption of standardised reporting capabilities.

• Experience with data warehousing concepts and best practices.

• Strong SQL proficiency, including querying, data manipulation, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with AI technologies and solutions, including practical application within a business environment.

About You

 

We’re seeking an analytical and motivated professional with 3+ years’ experience using Microsoft Power BI, strong communication skills and a relevant Bachelor’s degree. You’ll be a collaborative team player with excellent attention to detail, a proactive approach to learning, and a passion for delivering quality outcomes.

  

You will bring:

• At least 3 years demonstrated experience with Microsoft Power BI software

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Statistics, or equivalent

• A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a small, supportive team

• Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail

• A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and professional development

• Based in Perth, Western Australia
