Business Analyst

• Analyze business operations and logistics processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement areas across the supply chain.

• Work closely with stakeholders (Operations, Finance, IT) to gather, document, and validate business requirements for new projects or system enhancements.

• Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support decision-making and performance tracking.

• Drive cost-benefit analyses and financial modelling to assess the viability of logistics solutions and strategic initiatives.

• Monitor logistics performance data to uncover trends, anomalies, and issues affecting efficiency or service levels.

• Support implementation of logistics systems and automation tools across the organization.

• Lead and facilitate business review sessions, workshops, and process-mapping exercises.

• Collaborate with IT and data teams to develop digital solutions that streamline logistics and supply chain workflows.

• Conduct competitor and market research to benchmark best practices and support strategic planning.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering or Operations Management with added qualification in business and data analytics.

  Work Experience

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in business analysis.

  • Experience within logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments is a strong plus.

  • Familiarity with UAE logistics landscape and regional regulatory requirements is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with WMS, TMS, Freight Forwarding Systems is advantageous.

  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.

  • Proficient in tools like Excel, Power BI and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar).

  • Understanding of SQL queries and development of data driven dashboards.

  • Experience with documenting of business processes, business process re-engineering and improvement frameworks.

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to translate complex data into information and actionable insights.

  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  Languages

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
