On behalf of our public-sector client, Affinity is seeking a Business Analyst - Business Intelligence who will serve as a liaison between clinical, technical, operational, and business stakeholders across the healthcare system. The role involves engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and administrators to understand business needs, facilitate collaboration, and support project objectives.

Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
-
University degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, Information Technology, Health Sciences, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant healthcare, information management, or digital health experience.

10+ years of progressive experience in Canadian hospital, healthcare, or digital health environments supporting large-scale clinical information system implementations, digital health transformation, or healthcare modernization initiatives.

8+ years of experience translating complex clinical, operational, and business needs into implementation-ready Business Intelligence requirements, including reporting specifications, analytics frameworks, KPI development, dashboard requirements, data dictionaries, business rules, and terminology standards.

6+ years of experience planning, scheduling, and coordinating meetings with diverse stakeholder groups, including workshops, focus groups, governance sessions, and planning activities.

8+ years of experience communicating, facilitating, and presenting complex topics related to business processes, reporting, analytics, performance measures, standardization efforts, and organizational change to executive, clinical, operational, and technical audiences.

8+ years of experience documenting decisions, synthesizing discussions, maintaining logs and registers, monitoring progress, and managing dependencies, risks, and action items.

6+ years of experience building consensus among multiple stakeholder groups on workflows, terminology, performance measures, reporting requirements, and business processes within complex healthcare environments.

8+ years of experience analyzing current-state clinical and operational workflows and facilitating the design of future-state processes enabled by clinical information systems and digital health technologies.

Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills in both English and French are highly preferred.
